The business name World Class Travel and Tours is a registered trade name with the State of Louisiana. The company is owned by J. Ernest "Sunny" Breeding, Jr. and Rebecca D. Breeding. We are members (either as an individual, agency, or both) of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the consortium Travel Leaders Network. We are also members of the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. We carry $1,000,000 in Errors and Omissions Insurance with Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection.

Our Objective

It is our objective to create a wonderful travel experience for you. Our clients have told us that their vacation was the trip of a lifetime, or the best travel experience that they had ever had.

Why travel?

Everyone wants to travel for pleasure and relaxation. So do we. But travel can be much more than that. Traveling to other places is the best way to learn about the interesting peoples and cultures throughout the world. Additionally, it is the only way to see first hand some incredibly beautiful sights scattered around our planet. It is our pleasure to share these experiences by helping you plan your travels.

Why use a Travel Consultant/Agent?

There are a number of good reasons for using only travel consultants to book your travel:

  1. Only a travel professional can offer you the full range of tours and cruises available and properly guide you in planning the best vacation for your expectations and budget.
  2. Some of the best tour operators do not sell directly to the public. To take advantage of these tours you have to book them through a travel agent.
  3. If a tour operator will take direct bookings from the public, the price is the same if booked through a travel agent.
  4. You do not have to worry about making the arrangements as we do that for you.
  5. If you book on your own and have a problem, you are on your own. If you book through a travel consultant you have someone to help you fix the problem.
  6. By working with tour operators and cruise lines we can offer you package-prices that can cost less than the sum of the items (air, hotel, transfers, guides, car, etc.) purchased separately.

Travel we book

We book many kinds of tours and cruises including the following:

  1. Tours & cruises worldwide
  2. Escorted, independent, & hosted tours
  3. Leisure & adventure travel
  4. Nature, cultural, & historic sights
  5. Hotel, air, car, & train packages
  6. Groups: Save on cruises & tours

We only use tour operators and cruise lines that have been around for a long time and have established good reputations. The tour operators that we use have expert knowledge of each destination, know what is on and off the beaten path, and offer quality tours at value prices. Tours (packages) range from the fully escorted kind to those where you are entirely on your own. For cruises we specialize in river cruises and small ship ocean cruises. How do we determine the best tour and cruise operators?

  1. We use our own worldwide travels to check out first hand tour and cruise operators.
  2. We attend trade shows at national travel conferences to interview travel providers.
  3. We network with numerous other experienced travel consultants in the USA and Canada.

Planning Fees

Like medical doctors, certified public accountants, and financial advisors, travel consultants have considerable expertise. We therefore reserve the right to charge a nonrefundable planning fee for our time spent and services rendered, especially for complicated itineraries. The amount of the fee depends upon the amount of work required to plan a trip. A completely independent and customized tour can include flights, transfers, hotels in a number of cities, rental car, trains, daily excursions, and other travel items. These type of tours can take a lot of planning time. By comparison escorted and some hosted tours take less time to plan. Any planning fee will be established when discussing travel plans with a client.

Our Backgrounds

We got into the travel businesses in April 1994 after developing successful careers in other fields. We chose this business because of our love of travel and the enjoyment we get from learning about other cultures, both past and present, and the opportunity to see first hand some incredible works of both man and Mother Nature. A brief summary of our backgrounds follows.
